The Athol Division of Idaho Forest Group is located in beautiful North Idaho. The mill is surrounded by tree covered mountains, Lake Pend Oreille, and nearby Farragut State Park in the growing town of Athol, ID. The mill specializes finger jointing trim ends into new studs that will be exported around the world for the booming construction industry. This site can produce up to 30 million board feet per year, joining Idaho Forest Group’s other production facilities in setting the industry standards for manufacturing efficiency.

From Spokane and CDA (East and West)
Travel on I-90, whether approaching from the East or West into Coeur d’ Alene, take exit 12 from I-90 to US-95 North. You will pass the Chilco mill and Silverwood Theme Park, before reaching the town of Athol, ID. Take the Athol exit and turn left onto ID-54 W/Smylie Blvd. Continue past the first set of railroad tracks. There are two turnoff entrances, the first is for Office/General visitors, while the second is for Lumber Trucks and Vendors. Stop at the gate and report presence to Shipping/Receiving Attendants.

From Lewiston (South)
Travel North on US-95 from Lewiston. Continue on the highway through Plummer, Coeur d’ Alene, and Hayden.
