Other Wood ProductsA MYRIAD OF USES FOR WOOD
The wood that’s harvested and produced by Idaho Forest Group has many uses beyond lumber. This includes plywood and oriented-strand board (OSB) for building and other uses. Wood products from IFG are also used for paper and packaging for communications, wood pellets for heating, steam bark for power production, beauty bark for landscaping, and wood chips for horse bedding. The idea is to use as much of the tree as possible, while creating products that we all use, every day.
